The New Orleans Survivor Council Story Circles were a meeting facilitation tool used in a larger grassroots effort to organize community members and ensure that post-disaster efforts met the needs of all those affected.

The Washoe County Comprehensive Plan includes twelve individual plans with the goal of articulating and enhancing the unique character of their respective communities. Some have even incorporated character directly into planning maps and ordinances.
